Baskets of Easter Eggs on Ferris Wheel

While working in the shop the other day making my concrete Easter egg, (can be seen HERE), I looked up and saw this metal piece hanging on the wall with four little baskets, oh yes !!! ...

My wheels started turning ... just as the wheel on this Ferris wheel turns.
I was thinking Easter Eggs and pretty colored grass.
Easter Baskets ... yea !!!

Showing the bottom of the basket

Took it to my spray painting rack and that was all it needed, a little Krylon Almond. You can see the little baskets pretty good here.

Had some nice colorful grass I got at the Dollar Tree and decorated eggs from the Craft store. I think they were $4.oo a dozen.

I have had the metal piece for a long time and I think I paid $3.00 for it. It is a Mexican arts & craft piece and I think it was made to hold tiny clay pots.

Fun and cute little thing to have sitting around ... might make a nice centerpiece for the Easter table. I could put small clear bowls in the baskets for serving something, like jelly bean eggs. Yum...

Now ... how fun is this ???

What have you found hanging around the house that you can add a little spray paint and repurpose?

  1. An Easter ferris wheel! Love the idea of the dishes of candy. I'm waiting for warm weather to spray paint outside. ~ Maureen

  2. Nice one. Never thought of a spray frame, much better than waiting for layers to dry and turning over, repeat etc. Easter display is very inventive.

  4. Oh yeah, that's cute. I wonder what I have around that can be transformed with a coat of spray paint? Guess I will have to look tomorrow.
